Chocolate Snowballs

Melt in your mouth chocolate snowballs
Servings 20 cookies


  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling afterwards)


  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter and powdered
    sugar together with a paddle attachment. Add in dry ingredients and water last.
    Scrape down sides if needed.
  • Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment. Use a 1 ounce cookie scoop
    or scoop balls with a spoon. Roll them around in your hands to create a round
    ball shape.
  • Freeze cookies on sheet for 10 minutes.
  • Bake cookies for 15 minutes.
  • Cool cookies on pan for 10 minutes. Place 1 cup of powdered
    sugar in a bowl and roll cookies in powdered sugar. Once rolled, put cookies
    back on cookie sheet and cool completely, about 1 hour. Enjoy!
