Melt in your mouth chocolate snowballs
Servings: 20 cookies
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling afterwards)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter and powdered
sugar together with a paddle attachment. Add in dry ingredients and water last.
Scrape down sides if needed.
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment. Use a 1 ounce cookie scoop
or scoop balls with a spoon. Roll them around in your hands to create a round
Freeze cookies on sheet for 10 minutes.
Bake cookies for 15 minutes.
Cool cookies on pan for 10 minutes. Place 1 cup of powdered
sugar in a bowl and roll cookies in powdered sugar. Once rolled, put cookies
back on cookie sheet and cool completely, about 1 hour. Enjoy!
