Cherry Butterscotch Bars

Butterscotch blondies with fresh cherries
Servings 1 quarter sheet tray


  • 12 oz butter
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups pitted cherries, fresh


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Use a quarter sheet tray, spray and put parchment on the bottom.
  • Melt butter. In a mixing bowl, put brown sugar and salt. Add melted butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla, then flour. Fold in cherries with a spatula.
  • Pour batter into prepared quarter sheet tray.
  • Bake for 35 minutes. Cool completely before cutting, and enjoy!
