Chocolate Pudding for Two

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Pudding for Two

  • 2 oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 12 oz. cream
  • 2 yolks
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a small sauce pot, heat cream, sugar, salt, and cocoa powder on medium high.
    Put yolks in a small separate bowl. Melted chocolate goes in a medium size bowl.
  • Whisk cream mixture so sugar and cocoa powder are melted into cream. Once cream is warm, pour a little bit of the hot cream into the yolks and whisk. Pour those whisks back into the hot cream mixture and cook the yolk/cream mixture until thick, about 3 minutes.
  • Pour cream/yolk mixture over melted chocolate and whisk until combined.
    Pour chocolate pudding into two ramekins and chill for 2+ hours or overnight.
    Garnish with fresh fruit, chopped almonds, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, whatever you’d like!
