Here we are, back to snowy weather! I’ve come to learn that the weather outside has a big effect on my day. I am all about sunshine and bright colors, and when it’s gray and gloomy outside, I
I know, I know, I have been very MIA lately. Life just gets really busy sometimes, ya know? In my last post, I mentioned that my boyfriend and I were taking a little roadtrip to Zion
Who else is still getting snow right now? I swear we got so much snow just in this past week! I really don’t mind it since I don’t have to be out in it, but come on its nearly May! The sun is out and melting it all off today, so I’m hoping to get a long walk in. I feel as though we are nearing the end of our quarantine days. It’s really hard to say what will
A lot of us are having to celebrate birthdays in quarantine. I thought I’d share a recipe to make if you’re celebrating a birthday, but don’t want to make an entire cake. This funfetti cake recipe will yield you a perfect amount to feed 4-6 people. 4 people if you’re serving “healthy”

Well, the news is out folks! I WROTE A BOOK! Itâs a cookbook about all things PIE! I am finally able to announce it to the world as pre-orders start now! The book had 50 seasonal pie recipes. Some savory, some sweet. Some classic and of COURSE some unique.
I love tres leches. It’s a soaked spongecake topped with whipped cream and usually served with fresh fruit. “Tres leches” meaning three milks, is what the cake is soaked in. Usually this means sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and half & half, but for this recipe I substituted strawberry puree for one of the milks. It really gives the whole cake a fresh strawberry-milk flavor! Top with whipped cream and served with fresh strawberries and you’ll be in strawberry heaven.
